The Yamashita Squid Jig range is designed to target squid with ruthless efficiency. They use a patented thermo-storage cloth called the Warm Jacket, which reacts to light and holds heat for longer - just like a natural fish. Squid can pick up on temperature variations from prey, so that’ll draw them in like a magnet. They’re made with “Tactywarm” material that can change light into heat, keeping it much warmer in the water and making it stand out like a beacon to squid.
The nose is the thinnest on any of the Yamashita jigs, which minimises water resistance for fantastic action with less effort. They haven’t compromised on strength, either. The tin sinker is environmentally friendly and jumps higher than previous models, giving you more action over a shorter distance. They come with double crown stainless steel hooks that’ll hook squid in easily. A great squid jig from Yamashita.
