The all new Shimano Vanford series builds on the iconic Stradic Ci4+ to become the ultimate finesse reel. This spin reel uses a lightweight Ci4+ body, with a new MGL rotor that makes it 48% lighter to turn. It also includes Silent Drive and Micromodule Gear II for light, smooth reeling.
The Vanford has X-Protect for strong water resistance, and cold forged Hagane gears for incredible durability. This increases the toughness of the roller clutch and line roller to meet the IPX8 standard. This Shimano spinning reel also has better casting performance from the new Long Stroke spool design. A fantastic finesse spinning reel with an ultra-fast start up.
