Most saltwater fish species will eat a crab. Whether it's in the estuaries, close inshore reefs or off the rocks, a crab can be on the dinner menu. The 2.5-cm Savage 3D crab should take pride and place in any angler's tackle box if you target bottom-dwelling species like bream, flathead, flounder, jewies and large whiting. You can fish them with a heavy or light weight. If there is not much current, go lighter, and if the current is running, you will need to put a jig head on that will still allow the crab to shuffle along the bottom.
