What are fishing shirts made of?
Fishing shirts, or sublimated polos, are made from 100% polyester fabric. This mesh-type polyester is the type of material you will often see in sportswear or hiking/exercise gear – the light, airy fabric perfect for maximum airflow for when you're working up a sweat or stuck under the blazing sun.
This fabric keeps your sublimated shirt breathable, lightweight, durable, resistant to wrinkles and stains, and most important of all – comfortable – while you're out enjoying your fishing trip, your day at the beach, or your adventure out on the boat.
If you're feeling eco-conscious, then BCF have you covered. BCF stock a range of sublimated fishing shirts that are made up of recycled materials. Depending on which type of sublimated polo you purchase, the 100% polyester can be partially or fully made up of recycled polyester – meaning your shirt is made from recycled plastic bottles. You won't feel the difference when you pop it on, the material still offering you the same level of comfort and tech as regular polyester, but you'll feel damn good about wearing it (look at you, saving the planet and all).
