Practice your fishing knots
There’s absolutely nothing worse than losing a fish due to a poorly tied knot. Lucky for you, there’s a sure way to prevent this… practice! As the old saying goes ‘practice makes perfect’, and this is definitely the case when it comes to fishing knots. Practice tying your leader on to your mainline with an FG knot, or simply work on the basics with a Uni knot. There are bucket loads of fishing knots that you can tie to make sure that you don’t lose the fish of a lifetime.
