Boat Burley
This often involves throwing your burley behind the boat and letting it float down, hanging a burley bag off the back of the boat or dropping a weighted burley cage to the bottom.
Land Based Burley
When fishing off the bank in an estuary tie your burley bag or cage to a pole or tree, allowing it to float freely in the water.
