Ingredients
- Self raising flour
- Cubes of salted butter
- A bit of beer
- Cut up cheerios
- Cut up Salami
- Diced onion
- Diced Ham
- Grated cheese
- Barbecue Sauce
- Milk
Method
- Combine cheerios, salami, ham, onion and cheese into a bowl.
- Stir through a douse of BBQ sauce.
- In a different bowl mix through the butter and self raising flour.
- Slowly add in a bit of beer and mix until you get a springy ball of dough.
- Flour down a cutting board, place your dough down and knead it out into a large thin circle.
- Load your toppings onto one half of the dough, keeping the edges clear. (Don't overload it)
- Paint the edges of dough with a bit of milk and fold over the toppings.
- Pinch the edges together so they stick.
- Carefully place onto a piece of baking paper and then on camp over rack.
- Place into camp oven and brush the top of damper with a bit of milk.
- Now place your camp oven on the coals with some on the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes, depending of the temperature of your fire.
- Let cool before handling.
