On the shelves at BCF is a brand new and innovative lipless Crank Bait from the switched on researchers at Rapala. The ‘Clackin’ Rap’ utilises the technology and finish found on the leading edge X-Rap range of lures and an innovative rattle system that is unlike any other lipless Crank Bait on the market.

On the inside is a single ball bearing that clacks against a metal disc either side of the lure, the metal discs have direct contact with water which assists the vibrations to travel further under water. What makes this lipless Crank Bait unique is that the clacking sound has a lower frequency than multiple bearing rattle chambers which penetrates through the water a greater distance.
